Hello, my name is Josh Seery, commonly known as the “master of pickled eggs”. For 47 years, I have traveled around the globe in search of the perfect pickled egg. After stints in Burkina Faso, Iceland and Palestine, “Pinckneys fish bar” appeared to me in a dream: I knew that my destiny would lay in Maidenhead. So, I traveled day and night in search of the fabled egg. After 40 days and 40 nights, I arrived. I immediately shot to the front of the cue, and ordered roughly £200 of pickled eggs. Amazing!!! Ordered a portion of fish and chips and a pac of scampi — it’s so delicious and I couldn’t fault any of these. First time tried chips with vinegar and salt — they were so good. We’ll be returning 100%!

The BEST fish and chips I've had in the UK! Travelled all the way from Asia to try out their specialties and they definitely did not disappoint. Haddock was humongous and the chips portion was very generous. Paying for the additional sauces was also one of the best decisions ever - the flavours from the fried batter on the fish accompanied by the tangy tartar had a party in my mouth. Service was fantastic as well, the staff were very knowledgeable about their dishes and gave great advice on which fish I should be choosing! Overall just an amazing experience and I'll definitely come back again for more!
